The course combines practical trade training, health and safety units, employability support, and progression pathways. Learners complete core construction skills at Level 1, including essential site safety and preparation for the CSCS Labourer Card. Skilled Worker Pathway options include Bricklaying, Joinery, Wall & Floor Tiling, Carpentry Fundamentals, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Plumbing and Electrical basics, supported by a mandatory 30-hour industry placement. Additional qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 in Trowel Occupations or Plaster Skimming, may be offered depending on progression and pathway choice.
There are no formal academic entry requirements for this programme. Learners must be aged 19 or over, possess the right to live and work in the UK, and demonstrate a basic understanding of English to ensure safe participation in practical activities.
